Landscape architect Fernando Velarde of Monterrey, N.L., Mexico, created "Big Head Lake" (left) using MetaTools' KPT Bryce 2, Onyx's Tree Pro 3, and Rokkaku- Daioh, a Japanese shareware program that he found on the Web. For "The Last Chlorophyll," (right) he used Specular's InfiniD 3.5.
