Allegorithmic Session

Allegorithmic's president and founder, Dr. Sebastien Deguy, is presenting "Procedural and Multi-Core Techniques to Take Visuals to the Next Level," starting at 9 am today. The Intel-sponsored session at GDC will demonstrate how Allegorithmic uses multi-core architectures in its Substance Air middleware to deliver high-quality textures, reduced download size, and new production and rendering strategies to game development teams. Being shown for the first time at GDC, Substance Air is Allegorithmic's new texturing solution for the creation and distribution of online and downloadable games.
The "Procedural and Multi-Core Techniques to Take Visuals to the Next Level" session is scheduled for today, from 9 to 10 am, in room #2010 in the West Hall of GDC. The session will feature Dr. Sebastien Deguy, president and founder of Allegorithmic, and Ed Plowman, marketing manager for Intel.
