From a record field of 226 submitted entries, several
notable games have received multiple Independent Games Festival
nominations, including: Osmos, PixelJunk Eden, Retro/Grade, and Night
Game. The IGF main competition categories include: Seumas McNally Grand
Prize, Excellence in Visual Art, IGF Excellence in Audio, Excellence in
Design, IGF Innovation Award, and Technical Excellence.
