Spring, Cingular, and Amp'd to judge game competition

On July 13, key executives from Sprint, Cingular, and Amp'd Mobile will judge the first-ever LivePitch OnStage game competition at the Mobile Game Conference in Seattle. Game developers and publishers are invited

enter their new games, demos, or concepts to score an opportunity to pitch live onstage before a panel of judges who can actually make a difference in their game's future.

LivePitch OnStage competition judges include Kris Davis, games product marketing manager, Sprint; Andrew Stein, sr. product manager, Cingular; and Paul Nakayama, sr. director, content programming, Amp'd Mobile.

How to apply
Send your game concept and as much of a graphical treatment as you've got to LivePitch@GameMobileConference.com prior to the June 30, 2006 deadline. New games, game demos, and game concepts are eligible. The Mobile Game Conference advisory board picks the best ideas. The winning presenters, onstage before the entire conference audience, receives five minutes to convince the VIP judges to fund or distribute their idea. Additional details are available at www.MobileGameConference.com/livepitch/.

"By taking part, you'll get direct feedback from these market makers about your work, and a chance to establish better communication with the people who can get your games on phones throughout the US," says Christopher Sherman, executive director of the Mobile Game Conference. "You'll also get your work out in front of an expert audience—more than a few of whom will be watching for the next great mobile game."

The LivePitch OnStage Competition takes place at the 4th annual Mobile Game Conference.
