2K Sports Installs Vicon MX in California Motion-capture Studio

San Francisco - Vicon, developer of Academy Award-winning motion capture systems, has announced that 2K Sports, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software Inc., will install a Vicon MX system at a new 2K Sports motion-capture studio in Novato, Calif. 
 
 
2K Sports is a developer of popular sports franchise titles, including Major League Baseball 2K7, NBA 2K7, NHL 2K7, and All-Pro Football 2K8. 2K Sports is installing a 48-camera Vicon MX system at its new motion-capture facility to provide in-house high-resolution performance capture for these and other titles.
 
2K Sports is among an elite group of game developers around the world using Vicon motion-capture systems, including Activision, Ubisoft, Electronic Arts, Microsoft Games, Midway Games, Sony Computer Entertainment of America, Capcom, Konami, NAMCO, Nintendo, Sega, and top film effects studios, including Industrial Light & Magic, Sony Pictures Imageworks, Animal Logic, Rhythm & Hues, and others.
