Cypress, Calif. - Christie, maker of visual solutions for entertainment, business, and industry, has acquired Vista Controls Systems Corp. (Vista), makers of powerful video processing systems, including the Vista Spyder.
The acquisition creates a comprehensive source for image processing and projection solutions for professional display markets -- combining Vista’s video switchers and real-time windowing and composition products with Christie projection systems.
Christie and Vista solutions can be found in major broadcast environments, including on the multidisplay sets of CBS Evening News with Katie Couric and TF1 France.
The Vista Spyder also supports NBC Sunday Night Football, CNN International, CNN New York, an eighteen projector wall at the IAC International Headquarters, the Arizona Cardinals' Football Stadium, Deutsche Telekom AG’s headquarters, the Golf Channel, and NBC Sports.
