NextComputing Offers Nvidia Quadro FX 4600 by PNY Technologies in NextDimension Portable Workstations

Nashua, N.H. - NextComputing has added Nvidia's Quadro FX 4600 by PNY Technologies to its NextDimension family of flextop personal supercomputers.
NextComputing’s NextDimension family of portable graphics workstations feature two PCI Express slots, a first in a portable workstation. The workstations couple the GPU performance of the Nvidia Quadro FX 4600 by PNY Technologies graphics board with the CPU performance of dual-core AMD Opteron processors. 
 
PNY Technologies delivers CAD, DCC, and visualization application capabilities with the Nvidia Quadro FX 4600 by PNY graphics board. Engineered to handle complex visual computing challenges, the Nvidia Quadro FX 4600 by PNY Technologies features 768MB of GDDR3 frame buffer with ultra-fast memory bandwidth of up to 57.6GB/sec.

NextComputing’s recently announced NextDimension Evo models that enable audio cards and high-end PCI cards to be utilized in conjunction with two PCIe cards, for further flexibility to address the most I/O intensive applications, such as those in the broadcasting and audio industries.
