National Film Board of Canada Installs Digital Vision Film Master

Stockholm,Sweden - Digital Vision, a supplier of picture enhancement systems forfilm and television postproduction, announced that the National FilmBoard of Canada (NFB) has deployed a Film Master color grading andfinishing system. The Film Master will become an integral part of theNFB’s tapeless workflow at the Montréal headquarters and an importantacquisition in its ongoing digital transition to digital. 

Since its founding in 1939, the NFB has created more than 13,000 productions and won more than 5000 awards, including 12 Oscars and more than 90 Genies. The NFB has consistently produced documentary, animation, and dramatic features, and the organization has developed a dynamic digital strategy to support its mission and provide innovative content.

NFB chose Digital Vision’s Film Master after extensive review and analysis of all the available Non-Linear Grading solutions. The Film Master will be integrated into its archive management and post production pipeline.
