Careers Day Set at Escape

On Wednesday, April 3, Escape Studios in London is hosting a career day to show interested individuals what it takes to become a CG pro in the VFX industry.

Joining Escape Studios is a very special (and very secret) industry guest who has worked on films such as Avatar, Where the Wild Things Are, John Carter and The Chronicles of Narnia. "If you've ever wanted to find out more about visual effects and the career opportunities available, then the come along and start asking questions!" a representative at the company said.

Places are limited, so register now.

A hands-on opportunity will be available, allowing guests to take Nuke for a test drive on a compositing day-course. "One of the coolest tools used around the globe, it's what compositors use to bring a visual effects scene to life. Without compositors, the CG we see on the big screen just wouldn't look good. So come along to a day course and see if you're a natural. You'll get a hands-on introduction to Nuke and a better understanding of what compositing is," according to Escape Studios.

This event will be held at the newly re-furbed Break Out area at Escape Studios, Shepherds West, Rockley Road in London. The event will be from 9:30 am until 1 pm.  Register at www.Escapestudios.com.
