"A Bouquet of Spirals"
Vladimir Repka, Ph.D., born in Bratislava, Slovakia (formerly Czechoslovakia), creates his art as a semi-professional. Although his main occupation is as a scientist, (largely a molecular biologist), creating digital art is his biggest hobby. His imagination and emotional inspiration aid him in his art, based on nature, family, landscape, and religion. Repka's art is exhibited in at least 10 recognized digital online galleries. In 2004, he created his own DreamyWorld Digital Art Studio in response to requests from profit and non-profit organizations for art submissions, whether for evaluation or exposition. Repka employs an AMD Sempron XP 2500+ desktop computer and a Wacom pressure-sensitive tablet, as well as such software programs as Adobe Photoshop 7.0 CE, PaintShop Pro 8.0 with 200 plug-ins, Corel Painter IX and Xara, Macromedia Freehand, and Apophysis 2.0.
