"Burning Heart"
Douglas Meyer is a second-year student at the University of Cincinnati, enrolled in the digital design program in the College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning.
"This image was inspired by Dream Theater's Scenes From a Memory CD," says Meyer. "The object of the assignment was to create a piece of art that could accompany an existing artistic work (the CD) in a commercial environment, in this case possibly a CD cover or advertisement, as the imagery contained within the work is evocative of the storyline being explored throughout the concept album."
