Special-effects consultant Rod Havrick Altschul created a short, talking head animation sequence using software from Hash Animation Inc. After creating the 3D structure, Altschul mapped a photograph that he manipulated in Photoshop onto the surface. (see CGW January 1995; "Facial Animation")
