Minneapolis-based artist Jeff Johnson creates illustrations and animations for the healthcare, medicine, and biotechnology fields. His work has appeared in print, broadcast, and a variety of electronic media for sales/marketing, training, and educational materials.
Johnson's neuron image appeared in the June 2000 issue of Computer Graphics World. To create the animation from which it was taken, as well as the other images posted here, Johnson used Maxon Computer's Cinema 4DXL and Adobe Systems' Photoshop and After Effects.
