Mike Amerson is a freelance artist and webmaster in Las Vegas. He studied 3D animation at the Community College of Southern Nevada for three years. "I've been interested in all kinds of art for as long as I can remember," he says. "Especially the great artists of the Renaissance era -- I appreciate their work very much. I used to sketch often, then moved on to air-brushed art before becoming involved with digital art."
This graphic is a still shot from an animation of a magic carpet that Amerson included in a demo reel. He used 3D Studio Max on a 350-MHz processor and 8 MB Intel video card. He did the textures in PhotoShop.
