Artist: Scenes From Imaginary Cartoons

This "computer painting" is a sample from a collection of images that James Mahan calls "Scenes From Imaginary Cartoons." The San Francisco-based artist and director of the Computer Arts Institute used Adobe Photoshop and Fractal Painter to create the images in the collection. "Bits and pieces were tweaked using [MetaTools'] Kai's PowerTools," he says, and 3D backgrounds and textures were created using Infini-D, Strata Studio Pro, KPT Bryce, and 3D Studio.
