Allegorithmic's president and founder, Dr. Sebastien Deguy, is presenting "Procedural and Multi-Core Techniques to Take Visuals to the Next Level," starting at 9 am today. The Intel-sponsored session at GDC will demonstrate how Allegorithmic uses multi-core architectures in its Substance Air middleware to deliver high-quality textures, reduced download size, and new production and rendering strategies to game development teams. Being shown for the first time at GDC, Substance Air is Allegorithmic's new texturing solution for the creation and distribution of online and downloadable games.
