During GDC yesterday evening, Blue Room NYC president/CEO Chris Gargani and his partner, creative director Brian Aumueller, addressed New York University motion graphics and 3D students from the undergraduate and graduate divisions on the subject of “Motion Design and Logo Development.” Gargani and Aumueller concentrated on the refreshed visual identity their company created for History, the network. The Blue Room team spent 13 months refreshing History’s brand name and energizing the bold “H” logo.
“New design elements became a strong addition to the logo mark, connecting past to present while evoking forward motion,” explains a representative. “The refreshed History logo has an intrinsic sense of leadership, energy, and motion, and was designed to create a more personal connection with viewers.”
