Las Vegas - Digieffects is launching three new products: FreeForm 3D Mesh Warp, FreeForm 3D Displacer, and Damage 2.0. Attendees at the NAB Show in Las Vegas can stop by the Plug-in Pavilion, Booth SL4228 to witness the new plug-ins, as well as Camera Mapper, Falloff Lighting, and Aged Film, which support native 64-bit applications.
New products include:
FreeForm 3D Mesh Warp: Developed by Mettle Communications and available for $99, Digieffects FreeForm 3D Mesh Warp adds a third dimension to the built-in After Effects mesh warp tool. Users can select how many rows and columns to divide the image into, then manipulate the control tangents to create cylinders, curves, ribbons, folding cards, and an infinite amount of three dimensional shapes.
FreeForm 3D Displacer: Developed by Mettle Communications and available for $99, Digieffects FreeForm 3D Displacer brings true three dimensional displacement mapping to After Effects. Displacement maps can be animated, adding effects like rippling water or blowing flags in full 3D perspective. Customers can also use mesh subdivision to raise and lower the density of their mesh and anti-aliasing settings to work quickly and then switch to a fully refined result.
Damage 2.0: This is the only plugin dedicated to making a project look worse! Version 2.0 includes support for native 64-bit applications, 32 bit per channel support and Destabilize and Overexpose (formerly part of Simulate: Camera). Damage 2.0 supports After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, Edius, Combustion and Boris RED.
FreeForm 3D Mesh Warp and FreeForm 3D Displacer are priced at $99 each and will be available soon from Digieffects and its resellers.
Damage 2.0 will begin shipping at the end of April 2010. Damage will be available for $99. Existing Damage users can upgrade to version 2.0 for $49.
The updates to 64-bit compatible versions of Camera Mapper, Falloff Lighting and Aged Film will be available free of charge soon.
