Fredrikstad, Norway - The ability to demonstrate products in real-world situations has always been a priority for projectiondesign, and this year's NAB show in Las Vegas is no exception.
On Sunday, April 10, guests at ASSIMILATE's annual artist event at the new Hard Rock Café on the Las Vegas Strip - will be able to see the latest advances in stereo 3D image manipulation for dailies, conform, colour grading and finishing, with the company's SCRATCH digital imaging tools and projectiondesign's cineo82 DLP projector. At the event, ASSIMILATE will introduce the next generation of SCRATCH, highlight workflow demonstrations from Codex Digital and Ken Locsmandi and discuss the Epic camera at a roundtable featuring Ted Schilowitz from RED, Mark Pederson from Offhollywood and Jeff Edson from ASSIMILATE.
Anders Løkke, International Marketing & Communications Manager, projectiondesign, comments: "ASSIMILATE has been heavily involved in 2D and stereo 3D content-creation for the past five years, working hand-in-hand with studios and post houses to build the tools that address their particular workflow requirements.
"By providing ASSIMILATE with our cineo82 projector during NAB 2011 in Las Vegas, we hope to show attendees how easy it is to embrace projection in post production, and how many more creative possibilities this opens up. We are really proud to have the opportunity to work alongside the industry leaders at this event.
"At the event, we will have our own staff on-hand to answer questions during the SCRATCH demos, and are confident that this latest 'real-world' placement of our products will win us many new fans in the broadcast, production and movie-making communities."
