Boxx Technologies Releases 3DBoxx RTX Series Workstation

Austin, Texas - BOXX Technologies Inc., maker of high-performance computing hardware for visual effects (VFX) professionals, has announced the availability of the 3DBoxx RTX series workstation running the new Quad-Core Intel Xeon processors 5300 series in a chassis designed to house up to 15 data drives for up to 1GB/s of storage bandwidth.
The 3DBOXX RTX is a powerful, high-performance 64-bit workstation specifically engineered to power film postproduction.

The 3DBOXX RTX workstation is the latest development in BOXX’s initiative to help VFX artists benefit from the trend toward multi-core processing and multi-threaded applications. The 3DBOXX RTX is a dual-processor workstation with the ability to run both Dual-Core and Quad-Core processors.
