Cambridge, England - ArtVPS, a developer of 3D rendering solutions, is to commence full-time operations in the United States. Headquartered in Cambridge, England, the company delivers solutions that meet the demands of real-world image production in the entertainment, automotive, architecture, and product design industries.
With ArtVPS’ rendering technology also employed in traditional photography and commercial advertising, the company is gearing up to expand its operations and exploit increasing market opportunities.
Brian Tyler, CEO at ArtVPS, says: “America is a key market for us. ArtVPS already has a profile among the design fraternity, but the potential for expansion into this and other sectors is enormous. This is particularly true of the U.S. automotive market, which is a primary target for us. In order to fully exploit the opportunities available, we need to have people on the ground who can demonstrate the benefits of ArtVPS solutions. We have a firm commitment to grow business on the other side of the Atlantic, and expect our U.S.-based team to grow considerably over the next couple of years.”
ArtVPS will initially employ a business development manager and a 3D specialist who will start the operation from a new base in Los Angeles, but plans are already in place to extend operations to New York and Chicago to address the scale of market and geography involved.
ArtVPS is also looking to forge new partnerships with resellers focused on selling both hardware and software rendering solutions. Mark Burton, recently appointed as sales and marketing director, will manage the initiative which follows the launch of two new products. RenderServer incorporates technology from ArtVPS and mental images and provides users with a fast platform for high-resolution rendering with mental ray. RayBox is a compact and powerful solution built around ArtVPS' dedicated ray tracing technology.
