San Rafael, Calif. - A recent redesign of the Autodesk Alias Design Community site has resulted in the re-launch of this Web portal, an online community experience designed to bring the design industry together.
Members will benefit from new features and enhanced functionality and are encouraged to use the site as a resource for learning and sharing. Connecting peers, students, and design professionals, the site welcomes members to come together and learn ways to improve their use of Alias Design software through tutorials and tips and tricks. Downloadable software, environments, textures, shaders, and desktop backgrounds are also offered.
The portal encourages community members to share their design skill and accomplishments by offering image galleries, case studies and stories, discussion boards, and blogs hosted by industry experts. Acting as an education forum, the Alias Design Community site will also connect artists who may be facing similar design and project challenges. Members will have an opportunity to discuss their designs directly with other community members and Autodesk employees, together finding solutions.
