Ottawa, Ontario - Corel Corporation, a developer of graphics, productivity, and digital media software, has announced that Corel Painter X has joined the ADAPT 2007 Conference as the official sponsor of the new ADAPT Art Expo.
The //ADAPTArt Expo will take place at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Montreal from September 24 to 28, 2007, and will feature work from some of Corel's outstanding Painter Masters, including noted concept artists Ryan Church and Andrew Jones, who will also be presenting as part of the conference program.
Open to conference attendees as well as the general public, the spacious//ADAPT Art Expo will feature exceptional digital artwork by the industry's artists as well as entries from aspiring artists. Visitors to the Art Expo will have the opportunity to network with peers, relax, and enjoy some of the industry's most innovative artistic creations. In addition, participants will see digital art transmitted off the screen and printed at high-resolution on canvas for the first time.
Jones, a concept artist, co-founder of an Internet art community (www.conceptart.org), and art director for Massive Black, will be presentingat the //ADAPT Conference on Thursday, Sept. 27, at 9 a.m. Church, a senior art director at Industrial Light & Magic (ILM), will be presenting on Friday, Sept. 28, at 1:45 p.m.
