Auckland, New Zealand - Massive Software is taking its solutions to the road in May with stops in London, Newscastle, and the FMX conference in Stuttgart, Germany.
Hosted by Escape Studios in London, the events are designed to demystify the working processes between Massive AI-driven animation system software and Pixar's RenderMan rendering solution.
Massive's technical demonstration will be presented by the company's visual effects and animation industry manager, Artaya Boonsong. Boonsong's credits as an animator and lead technical director include Crash, Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, The Human Stain, Charlie's Angels II, Underworld:Evolution, and Ray.
Escape Studios' creative technical director Scott Eaton will be demonstrating RenderMan. He has been working in computer graphics for 10 years, dividing his time between research and development, visualization and production. His client list includes The Mill, Sony Computer Entertainment, Microsoft Games Studios, and Pixar. He regularly gives lectures on the digital arts and has spoken at the Tate Modern Museum, Annecy Animation Festival, and SIGGRAPH.
