- During a gala evening at the Skirball Center in Los Angeles, The
Hollywood Post Alliance presented its Fourth Annual HPA Awards. The HPA
Awards honor top behind-the-scenes talent working in motion pictures,
television, and commercials. The Alliance also is handing out special awards for
Engineering Excellence, Lifetime Achievement, and the Charles S. Swartz
Award.
