“The assistance we received from enterpriseSeattle, the City of Seattle, and the State of Washington was amazing. When we were scouting locations their breadth of knowledge about digital media, and the impact that our educational portfolio would have on assisting local entertainment companies to grow even further solidified the logical choice of Seattle as the West Coast location of choice.” said Dr. Christopher Erhardt, Head of School-Overseas for the AIE. “We are looking forward to launching our local efforts with vocational programs targeted at the Game and Interactive Media Industry starting this summer.”
For the last nine months, enterpriseSeattle and Washington State have been working together on this project. “We are thrilled about the addition of AIE to our local interactive media cluster”, said Jeff Marcell, President & CEO of enterpriseSeattle. “This decision by AIE is just one more sign that our region is a strong leader in world of interactive media development and content creation.”
