London-based creative production studio Taylor James’ inaugural CGI internship program has proved to be an outstanding success, with all graduates making the grade and being employed as Junior CGI Artists. The autumn multidisciplinary internship is now open to the next budding CGI graduates.
The award-winning studio, which celebrated its 10th birthday this year, launched the three-month intensive internship program as part of its ongoing investment in learning and expansion, through its continual hunt for top talent. The internship program completed its first run in May to great success, seeing the company recruit all three candidates as Junior Artists. The internship combines standard industry-based training in all areas of production and post-production along with live project experience and is looking to recruit more candidates for the placement by the end of August, 2010.
Having evolved from a high-end retouch house, Taylor James now provides creative solutions in all areas of production, including: CGI, live action, retouching, and photography. This offers a more diverse learning experience to interns along with unique employment opportunities.
Taylor James invests time presenting at universities and industry events in the search for talented and ambitious candidates. In May, the company was a guest speaker at the renowned FMX Animation, Effects, Games, and Interactive Media Conference in Stuttgart, Germany, in addition to the regular visits to universities across the UK. Taylor James is looking to the future and is excited at what prospects lay ahead with an ever-expanding and talented team.
