Germany, the software developer and manufacturer of CINEMA 4D and BodyPaint 3D, intends to expand its presence in Singapore and ASEAN countries by establishing a new MAXON ASEAN Competence Centre in Singapore in partnership with its existing distributor, IM Innovations Pte Ltd.
MAXON co-founder and CEO Harald Egel explains: "Five years ago, we established the only ASEAN Authorised Training Centre (ATC) for CINEMA 4D in collaboration with IM Innovations and Temasek Polytechnic. We have examined the ASEAN market closely and have seen it grow steadily. Now is the perfect time to set up a Competence Centre in Singapore, the natural gateway to ASEAN countries."
MAXON's award-winning products have been used extensively in movies, broadcast, games, science, architecture, engineering and other industries. More students, educators and industry professionals in ASEAN countries will benefit from enhanced technical support, new satellite ATCs and increased marketing activities.
Managing Director of IM Innovations and Director of the MAXON ASEAN Competence Centre, Vincent Ong, adds, "The direct presence of MAXON will also mean more intense and closer collaborations with government organizations and educational institutions in Singapore and ASEAN countries. Besides transfer of know-how through regular master classes, we will also be exploring localization of GUI and tutorials into Chinese and development of software plugins with Temasek Polytechnic."
MAXON has offices in Friedrichsdorf (Germany), Newbury Park (CA, USA), Bedford (UK), Tokyo (JP) and Paris (FR). The MAXON ASEAN Competence Centre will be the sixth MAXON office worldwide.
