LOS ANGELES — SIGGRAPH 2012 is seeking submissions for next summer’s computer graphics conference and exhibition. The 39th International Conference and Exhibition on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques will take place August 5 to 9, 2012 in Los Angeles and will bring together students, studio executives, scientists and artists to discuss the latest in computer graphics.
The event offers an opportunity for pros and animation enthusiasts to present their best work. The following is a list of deadline dates for submissions:
January 24, 2012 - Student Volunteer Team Leader Applications:
February 13, 2012 - Student Volunteers Applications:
February 21, 2012 - General Submissions (Courses, Emerging Technologies, Panels, Posters, Talks, Studio)
April 9, 2012 - Computer Animation Festival (Competition Films) and Real-Time Live!
May 1, 2012 - SIGGRAPH Dailies! and Late-Breaking Work ( Late-Breaking Posters, Late-Breaking Talks):
All work submitted to SIGGRAPH 2012 through the call for submissions is reviewed by a qualified jury composed of top practitioners in the relevant field.
