Los Angeles, Calif. - The Hollywood Post Alliance has issued a call for entries for the 2011 HPA Judges Award for Creativity and Innovation in Postproduction.
Conceived to recognize companies and individuals who have demonstrated excellence in postproduction, whether in creative storytelling and/or technical innovation, the Creativity and Innovation Award will be bestowed at the 6th Annual HPA Awards on November 10, 2011 at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, Calif.
Now in its third year, the Creativity and Innovation Award acknowledges inventive companies and individuals who have demonstrated innovative thought and contribution to the postproduction process or to the postproduction industry through the use of new approaches, tools, workflows, and ideas that help enhance the post production process from a technical, creative or efficiency perspective.
A jury of peers will review submissions and select the winners. Judging is currently scheduled for late August. The Creativity and Innovation Award does not have to be given every year and will only be awarded to those projects deemed to show excellence in creative and innovative thinking or achievement.
The submission period for the HPA Judges Award for Creativity and Innovation in Post Production is August 1, 2011 through August 19, 2011.
