VANCOUVER — Image Engine’s work has been nominated for a VES Award. The 10th Annual Visual Effects Society Awards ceremony, set to take place February 7, recognizes outstanding visual effects in film, animation, television, commercials, special venues and video games.
Image Engine has been nominated, in the category of “Outstanding Animated Character in a Live Action Feature Motion Picture,” for the company’s work on the character of Edvard/Adam for The Thing (Universal Pictures, 2011).

The competing nominations in the category are: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 – ‘Ukrainian Ironbelly’, Paul – ‘Paul’ and Rise of the Planet of the Apes - ‘Caesar’.
