The Monsters are returning to Hotel Transylvania for another good time.
Genndy Tartakovsky’s animated hit feature film Hotel Transylvania entertained audiences with its unique look and style when Count Dracula opened his resort home to fellow monsters, and Sony opened the film in theaters this past September. Now, viewers can open their own homes to this movie as it arrives on DVD and Blu-ray.
Hotel Transylvania is Sony Pictures Animation’s highest-grossing feature film to date and has earned a Golden Globe nomination. It also marks Tartakovsky’s
(Dexter’s Laboratory, Samurai Jack, Star Wars: Clone Wars) feature directorial debut.
In addition to the feature, the combo pack discs contain Tartakovsky’s new 2D short “Goodnight, Mr Foot,” which he wrote, directed, and animated himself during the feature’s postproduction.
For an in-depth look at the animation process for this film, see “Pose by Pose” in the August/September issue of CGW, which can be found in the archives section on www.cgw.com.
