PLAYA VISTA, CA — Daniel Seah, current CEO of visual effects company Digital Domain 3.0, has been elevated to the position of Executive Director and CEO for its parent company, Digital Domain Holdings Limited.
This move is a major vote of confidence from Digital Domain Holdings Limited Board of Directors and a show of faith of Seah’s accomplishments at Digital Domain 3.0 and his vision for the future of the company. As Executive Director and CEO of Digital Domain Holdings Limited, he will have encompassing authority to broker major strategic partnerships, including new media ventures, movie productions, co-productions, intellectual property and beyond.
Marking a major push forward for Digital Domain 3.0, Seah will continue to work day to day with the artists at the Digital Domain 3.0 campuses.
Seah took over the role of CEO at Digital Domain 3.0 in July 2013. Under his stewardship, the company has completed work on the box-office successes “Maleficent” and the co-production of “Ender’s Game,” as well as high-profile clients United, Kia, Nissan the video games “Destiny,” “Assassin’s Creed,” and “Halo.” The company also broke new ground utilizing their 3D hologram technology for live concerts in Taiwan and Hong Kong with a “Virtual” Teresa Teng, the late Chinese pop diva.
