LOS ANGELES — The Television Academy awarded the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards from the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles. The awards honored programming that aired during the 2013-2014 season.
Seth Meyers hosted the ceremony, which presented statuettes in 26 categories. Emmys in 80 other categories for programs and individual achievements were presented at the Creative Arts Awards on August 16.

A week prior, the Television Academy presented the 2014 Creative Arts Emmy Awards for programs and individual achievements. This first ceremony of the 66th Emmy Awards honored guest performers on television dramas and comedy series, as well as the many talented artists and craftspeople behind the scenes to create television excellence.
