NEW YORK, NY – Recently, Mary Nittolo from the STUDIO was honored with ASIFA-East’s first-ever Women In Animation award, given at the 46th Annual ASIFA-East Animation Festival Awards Ceremony.
Additionally, the STUDIO’s pro-bono work on the ‘GiveLuci’ PSA via agency FCB Garfinkel
won ASIFA’s award for Independent Animation.
“I was extreme moved by winning the first-ever ASIFA’s Women In Animation award,” Nittolo says. “There are far too few women in 3D animation and even less running studios. With the help of organizations like ASIFA that can start to change.”
