AMD has released the latest version of its enterprise driver, AMD Radeon Pro Software for Enterprise 19.Q3, providing a range of enhanced features for professional workflows, including support for innovative technologies such as Radeon ProRender and Radeon ReLive for VR.
Consistently delivering more performance improvements over the life of the product vs the competition, the latest driver provides up to 2x better performance gains over a one-year periodfor Radeon Pro graphics.
Highlighted features include:
- Optimizations for leading professional applications that accelerate workflows and provide Radeon Pro graphics users with competitive performance. With Siemens NX 10, Radeon Pro Software for Enterprise 19.Q3 with the Radeon Pro WX 7100 is up to 51 percent faster than the NVIDIA Quadro RTX 4000.
- Continued support for professional application features and optimizations, as well as ISV certifications, including OpenCL Code Optimizations for Analysis and Simulation and support for advanced studio mode in Siemens NX; advanced OpenGL optimization and support for Order Independent Transparency and Vertex Buffer Object in PTC Creo; and Order Independent Transparency Day Zero support for more accurate designs and SOLIDWORKS RealView for realistic real-time previews. All certifications are expected in Q3 2019.
- Wireless VR visualization in supported professional applications using Radeon ReLive for VR.
- Incredible photorealistic renderings in leading professional applications via Radeon ProRender, plug-in support for PTC Creo and Autodesk Maya, as well as upcoming support in SOLIDWORKS Visualize 2020 this fall.
AMD is also announcing that its Day Zero Certifications Program, which enables professionals to enjoy the latest features and certification benefits on the day of a new driver’s release, hit more than 1,000 Day Zero ISV applications since its November 2018 launch.
