Foundry has announced that version 13.0 of its Modo software is ready for download.
The new version contains multiple updates, including native, offline GPU rendering with AMD’s Radeon Pro Render. Character artists now have access to non-destructive animation layers, and the company has introduced Arrays, allowing for complex rigging, procedural modeling, and particle relationships that can output a variety of data forms.
Modo 13.0 highlights include:
- Industry-leading direct and procedural modeling tools for iterative design environments, character development, and rigging
- Major updates to the Modo Bridge, supporting Unity alongside Unreal Engine
- Dramatically enhanced UV features to accelerate the often time-consuming task of producing UV maps.
