To ensure that applications and hardware supporting Nvidia RTX GPUs are fine-tuned to give content creators the highest level of productivity boost they are looking for, Nvidia has introduced a new Creator Ready Driver program.
Under the program, Creator Ready Drivers undergo extensive testing against multiple revisions of the top creative applications. Also, multi-application testing is done for each type of creative workflow, evaluating driver quality in a real-world workflow.
Creator Ready Driver releases are timed to key creative application updates. Creator Ready Drivers, in addition to Game Ready Drivers, will contain a full Nvidia feature set and application support for creative apps and games, so users can continue to use either driver they prefer. Now, however, creators have the option to receive designated driver releases with more in-depth testing.
The first Creator Ready Driver, version 419.67) is now available. The release is optimized for all the top creative applications, including a number that have been accelerated for Nvidia RTX GPUs.
In addition to support for RTX accelerated applications, the new Creator Ready Driver also brings performance improvements over release 415 drivers for top creative applications.
