Scanline VFX continues to expand its European presence with the recent appointment of Lauren McCallum (right in photo) as Head of Production, Europe, coinciding with the promotion of Jasmin Hasel (left in photo) to Executive Producer, Europe.
Scanline currently has three physical European studios in Munich, Stuttgart and London, as well as a growing number of artists working remotely across Europe. In March of this year, all Scanline studios transitioned to remote working, adopting a global, decentralized production workflow. This has enabled our European teams to unite, working as one collaborative team across European time zones.
Together, McCallum and Hasel are focused on Scanline’s continued growth in the European market, managing over 130 artists on recently released titles such as 6 Underground, Charlie’s Angels, Stranger Things and Game of Thrones. Projects currently in production include Marvel’s Eternals, Netflix’s Transatlantic 473, Black Out and The Batman.
Lauren McCallum brings 15 years’ experience to her latest role at Scanline. As Head of Production, Europe, Lauren is responsible for project delivery, ensuring Scanline’s European teams are integrated with the company’s global network, along with talent development and mentoring the next generation of leaders in the business.
Jasmin Hasel has been with Scanline since 2008, starting as a Visual Effects Producer. Hasel has played an instrumental role in the development and expansion of Scanline’s European studios, helping to open the company’s Stuttgart location in 2015, followed by the London studio in 2019. In her latest role, Hasel is responsible for the overall management of all Scanline’s European locations, overseeing production teams and workflows from the beginning of a project through delivery, alongside building and maintaining client relationships.
