LOS ANGELES — Post Publishing LLC is excited to announce the appointment of Kendra Ruczak as Managing Editor of Computer Graphics World (CGW) magazine.
For over 40 years, CGW has led in the coverage of the computer graphics industry, reporting on the latest technology being used to create 3D graphics, animation, VFX, video games, feature films, streaming series, CAD, and medical imaging.
“CGW has been a longstanding resource for creators in our industry and we will continue to bring our audience relevant content, breaking industry news, and a community to learn and succeed together,” states owner/publisher Bill Rittwage. “Kendra is a welcome addition to our team.”
Kendra received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from UCLA and graduated with both college and departmental honors. She has served in various publishing roles, including Advertising Coordinator, Associate Editor and Managing Editor. Her reporting has spanned film and television production and post production, emphasizing the technology and collaboration between departments. She has paid particular focus to cinematography, production and post sound, editing, visual effects, and gaming technology. In her new role, she looks forward to expanding her reach into the realm of animation, VFX, 3D, game development, film, CAD, and the world of CG.
In addition to writing and editing, Kendra has a passion for photography, graphic design, and marketing. She co-owns, with her husband, an independent production company that focuses on short films, music videos, and commercials. Kendra currently lives in Oakland, CA, with her husband and their three cats.
