During SIGGRAPH 2007, Digital Anarchy is highlighting two of its new products: ToonIt! 1.0 for Film/Video and Primatte Chromakey 3.0 for Adobe Photoshop. ToonIt! for Film/Video is a cartooning effects package that can create cartoon shading and lines from any video or film source. The four filters in ToonIt! free artists from time-consuming techniques such as hand painting and rotoscoping. ToonIt! is compatible with Adobe After Effects, Apple Final Cut Pro and Motion, and Adobe Premiere Pro. Primatte Chromakey brings the power of film/TV chromakey to Photoshop users.
Primatte preserves important, difficult details like wisps of hair and sheer material. Version 3.0 makes use of exciting functions in Adobe Photoshop CS3, such as importing video footage into CS3's new Timeline and applying Primatte. Version 3.0 also adds new features, including more automated masking tools and better blending between subject and foreground.
