Maxon Computer’s thirteenth year at SIGGRAPH is intended to be its most memorable, with scheduled demonstrations and how-to instructions that spotlight the company’s Cinema 4 and BodyPaint 3D software applications in the production of 3D motion graphics, broadcast graphics and promos, feature films, film/game/television pre-visualization, interactive gaming, and video production.
Attendees can see guest artists from several customer sites and educational institutions who will present a wide range of techniques and creative solutions that inspire them to push the boundaries of 3D technology and help them maximize their software investment, says a representative.
Tom Quach, senior texture/matte painter at Sony Pictures Imageworks, shows the compelling visual effects look in Watchmen. The creative team at Innovative Show Design (ISD) will demo the making-of several broadcast set design projects—most recently for the Super Bowl XLIII and Poker After Dark, both for NBC, and the 2009 Speed Week at Daytona 500.
A complete schedule of guest appearances is available daily at the Maxon show booth, #3219.
