The Pixel Farm Ltd, developer of image-processing systems for VFX, DI, and restoration, is unveiling an advance in tracking software for digital visual effects at booth #313. Employing a brand new architecture, the technology improves the fundamental processes involved in camera tracking, one of the most important areas of successful VFX creation and ushering in increased levels of flexibility, control, accuracy, and speed. The Pixel Farm is introducing its first offering based on this new architecture, in the form a low-cost matchmoving application. Visitors to the booth can experience practical demonstrations covering the benefits of the new architecture, and the possibilities it provides. In addition, a technical workshop is being run twice daily illustrating how customers can customize the application using Python Scripting and macros to streamline effects pipelines. Every day of the show, visitors to the booth are automatically entered into a free drawing to win a complete tracking station, including the new matchmoving application plus a state-of-the-art GPU accelerated workstation, supplied by Aeon Computing.
