LOS ANGELES – SIGGRAPH 2015 (Booth #923) –Lightworks will be showcasing its 3D visualization technology, including the Iray+ for 3ds Max plug-in.
The plug-in enables 3ds Max users to create high-quality images and animated content that truly represents their product or design concept, using real-world material structures, lighting and photographic settings, and is part of Nvidia’s Iray for Autodesk suite of plug-ins, which is being showcased at SIGGRAPH.
Lightworks also will be giving visitors the chance to experience its technology first-hand with the Converse trainer configurator, built using the Iray+ technology. The configurator shows the flexibility of the company’s visualization technology, and shows its capabilities for use at any stage of the design process, from workflow through to point-of-sale.
Visitors can use the configurator to customize a shoe, changing elements such as the color, material and stitching of the trainer in real time, as well as being able to sketch their own personal designs on a Wacom tablet and see their designs appear on the shoe in front of them.
