Joshi, executive vice president of the HP Imaging and Printing Group, won the 2009 Prism Award. Presented annually by New York
University (NYU), the Prism Award recognizes distinguished leadership
in the graphic arts and communications industry.
Sponsored by NYU's Master of Arts in Graphic Communications Management and Technology Program, the 2009 Prism Award was presented to VJ during the 24th Annual Prism Award Luncheon in New York City.
In the last seven years under VJ's leadership, the HP Imaging and Printing Group (IPG) has grown revenue from $19 billion to $29 billion, and doubled its operating profit to more than $4 billion. VJ spearheads HP's drive to become not merely the world's premier printer company, but the world's premier printing company.
HP IPG's Graphics Solutions Business develops solutions for commercial print service providers and in-plants, label and packaging converters, professional artists and photographers, architects, engineers, design firms, and other professionals. The Graphics Solutions Business offers digital presses, large-format printers, imprinting/marking systems and associated servers, software and finishing equipment.
