Cologne, Germany - IDG Entertainment Media GmbH in cooperation with
Koelnmesse and the coordination centre Ausbildung in Medienberufen (AIM
- Training in Media Professions) will be presenting the Jobs &
Careers center at gamescom. On 21 and 22 August 2009, companies will be
able to introduce themselves to potential employees on an area covering
around 200 square-meters and demonstrate the professional opportunities
on offer in the games industry.

The Jobs & Careers center provides applicants with the ideal opportunity to obtain a quick overview, to get in touch with HR managers directly, to submit application documents, and have an initial interview. In addition, the center at gamescom offers exhibitors and visitors a diverse supporting program based on the theme “Careers in the games industry,” including top speakers, podium discussions, and countless company presentations.
